Film Training & Mentorship
Since 2015, Sara has led creative documentary film training in Yemen and in 2017 co-founded Comra Academy, which aimed to provide aspiring Yemeni filmmakers access to film training, community, tools and support to tell their stories to the world. Until its closing in 2023, Comra was the birthplace of some of Yemen’s most exciting new talent.
As of 2024, Sara continues to run mentorship programs for Yemeni and Arab filmmakers through Marsa Foundation.
